We're a fast-growing startup building a capital markets firm for the on-chain world. We’re a small but rapidly growing team at an exciting inflection point where we need operational support to scale effectively.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Business Operations Specialist to join us part-time (2-3 days per week). You'll touch every part of the business and free up the CEO to focus on strategy and growth. We’re a startup, so you’ll be expected to pitch in doing a little of everything - you'll be the operational backbone that keeps our business running smoothly while we focus on building and scaling our core offering, and while this isn't a wholly admin role there will, initially, be requirements to help book travel and manage calendars. Success in this role will allow the candidate to grow with the business in any number of directions, including senior business operations, HR or revenue operations roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external professionals (accountants, lawyers, auditors) to coordinate complex projects and ensure timely execution

  • Draft and manage contracts and business documentation

  • Craft HR policies and procedures

  • Coordinate with recruitment consultants and support hiring processes

  • Triage inbound client requests and communications

  • Manage financial administration including invoicing, payments, and vendor relationships

  • Support general business operations, including travel booking and diary management

  • Serve as the key point of contact for operational matters, escalating decisions to senior management as appropriate

Requirements

  • 4+ years of business operations experience, ideally with exposure to startups or high-growth environments

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving situations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to represent the company professionally

  • Experience coordinating with professional services firms (legal, accounting, etc.)

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly

  • Self-starter who can work independently while knowing when to escalate
