We’re now hiring for a dedicated 360° Market Data Sales role to help drive this vision forward, bringing in new partnerships, closing deals, and ensuring that the next wave of serious financial institutions choose LO:TECH as their trusted market data partner.
The Product and the Role
LO:TECH offers tick-level, normalised live and historical market data services. The services flow directly from our high-frequency trading infrastructure and, as such, have been built with a laser-focus on the quality and reliability of the pipeline and the information it produces - if we get it wrong, we lose money.
This quality has led to a product that has to-date primarily sold itself through word-of-mouth recommendations from our (very happy) existing client base.
Your role will be as the first dedicated 360° sales person responsible for building out a dedicated pipeline of high value clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will have significant responsibility and deep scope for shaping the product and how it is sold.
Key Responsibilities
Building a high-value pipeline of financial institutions, and strategic partners
Selling a high-value institutional data product with deal sizes typically in the five-figure range
Leading outreach and lead generation for major targets
Owning inbound lead qualification, handling high-intent leads from marketing and referrals
Closing new deals and working with existing clients to expand product penetration
Represent LO:TECH at global conferences and client events, building brand visibility in the market data space
Collaborating with engineering to refine the product, its delivery and evolution
Requirements
3-6 years experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally in market data sales within crypto or traditional finance fields
Strong understanding of tick-level market data types, or a willingness to learn fast
An existing network of financial institutions who are consumers of market data
A natural ability to build relationships, people should actually enjoy talking to you, not just feel like they’re being pitched the whole time
Comfortable in an dynamic environment, LO:TECH is scaling fast, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how this key business line works
